Setting Up QubicBot with SmartBots for Unlimited Messaging

Setting up QubicBot + SmartBots allows you use Unlimited Messaging Limit enforced by Linden Lab 

There are several requirements to proceed: 

  • QubicBot License Key

    • You can buy it by sending L$1490 to QubicBot Resident in Second Life.
    • Alternatively, send a message to the bot with "Free trial" (no quotes), and you'll get a trial license.
  • You must have a Personal Bot subscription with SmartBots.
    • You must have a Personal Bot subscription with SmartBots.
  • Attach QubicBot Interface Add-On to Your Personal Bot

    • This step is required to connect QubicBot with SmartBots.

Important Notes:

  • QubicBot is a desktop application: When you use QubicBot, your bot runs from your computer, not SmartBots servers. If you turn off your computer while QubicBot is running, your bot will go offline.
  • Switching back to SmartBots servers: You can remove the QubicBot Interface Add-On to return your bot to SmartBots servers, but it will be limited by Linden Lab's messaging rules again.
  • If this setup is not ideal for you, you can consider the Qubic Cloud service.

Steps to Set Up Your Personal Bot:

  • Download and install QubicBot on your computer.
  • Open QubicBot and:
    • Click Add new bot and enter your bot’s name.
    • Enter your bot’s password and the location where it should log in.
    • Do not click Login yet.
    • Click License, then enter your license key.
    • Click SmartBots, and enter your SmartBots integration token (find this in your SmartBots account under "QubicBot Integration").
  • Go back to the Main tab and click Login bot.

If everything is set up correctly, your bot will show unlimited messaging on your SmartBots dashboard.
